Welcome to Biggie & Smalls — An adoption and rehabilitation space where second chances aren’t just possible, they’re planned for.
Based in Reaboro, Ontario (City of Kawartha Lakes), we work closely with local rescues and community partners to support animals who need a little extra time, structure, and care before heading into their forever homes. Some arrive stressed. Some arrive shut down. Some arrive with big feelings and no idea what to do with them. Our job is to help them reset, rebuild confidence, and get ready for what’s next.
What We Do
Rehabilitation-focused care
We support dogs (and occasionally other small animals) through decompression, routine, enrichment, and confidence-building, helping them transition from survival mode to home-ready.
Rescue partnerships
We collaborate with local rescues to provide overflow support, structured rehab placements, and adoption readiness so animals can move forward safely and successfully.
Future-focused placements
Our goal isn’t just adoption — it’s the right adoption. We work to set animals (and adopters) up for long-term success with honest matching and supportive guidance.

How This Works
- Check out our cuddly creatures who are looking for their forever homes.
- Carefully decide on which furry friend would be the best fit for your lifestyle.
- Submit an adoption application request along with the pet's name.
- Upon approval - an email will be sent to coordinate an initial meeting with owners, other pets, children, etc.
- Adoption fees are payable through e transfer or credit card.
